All requests for IT assistance must be entered into the Service Desk so requests can be assigned and tracked accordingly.
How to use the Service Desk ticketing system?
The web site is servicedesk.nlesd.ca or can be accessed from the Google Waffle in the upper right hand corner
There are designated individuals at each site that can submit requests directly to the ticket system. They are called Service Desk submitter's.
Staff can ask at your school office who is a Service Desk submitter for your school and how to let them know when help is needed.
Student password resets and "how to" questions about digital learning tools and classwork related questions should be directed to your teacher.
Administrators if you need to change your schools Service Desk submitter contact your schools IT technician.
Special Helpdesk - IT Assist
The assist system guides staff through the information required for specific requests and then it sends it to Service Desk. Certain IT Assist requests will be processed immediately after you submit the form. This programmed automation results in no waiting time for the request to be performed.

In addition to the Helpdesk/Service Desk submitter's, Principals, Secretaries, Programs Staff, Managers and School G Suite Administrators can use IT Assist.
